4.3.1: Some NGO's are based on the desire of its founders to be societal active. As the society in itself develops, such NGO's run the risk to become detached from the community. There has to be a connection to the needs of (a part of) the community. The first step should be to connect or re-connect the ideas of the founders with those of the relevant parties (potential target groups, consumers, clients, service users etc.) within the community, in order to perform an common analysis of the needs.
